The proposed neighbourhood centre will incorporate a range of community uses, including some small scale retail development. The exact final uses are not yet agreed, but the plan shows an indicative layout for the site.

The development will allow a number of facilities to be located within easy walking distance from the current and proposed housing in the town, thereby reducing the need for car journeys.
